Online orders from tjmaxx.com can be returned within 40 days of the order date, free at any store or by mail for an $11.99 fee.

- Store returns are refunded on the spot to the original payment form or as merchandise credit; mailed returns are credited to the original payment in about 10 to 14 business days, with PayPal mail returns getting charge credit minus the fee.

- Free for in-store returns; $11.99 deducted from the refund for returns by mail (non-refundable unless the item is defective).
Sale and final-sale items
- Final sale: Used, worn, or unsellable merchandise (not accepted for refund, credit, or exchange)
- Final sale: Items that cannot be returned to a TJ Maxx store (tjmaxx.com purchases cannot go to Marshalls or sister brands)
